This is your opportunity to ask questions and compare the opportunities available. Open to students from all degree disciplines and year groups.

Join us for a networking lunch on Zoom, where you’ll meet members of our Investment teams who came from a PhD or Masters background. We’ll provide takeaway vouchers to all attendees, so you can enjoy a meal while learning more about our Investment Research training programme. Transferable skills seminar for Science and Engineering students

Tuesday 22nd September, 13:00 – 14:30

This seminar is designed to help you identify the transferable professional skills gained during your science or engineering degree. Members of our Investment team, who come from a similar background, will take you through an interactive session, where you’ll get to practise these skills in a research scenario from our industry. The workshop is open to all penultimate and final year science and engineering undergraduates. Numbers are limited, so please reserve your place by the 18th September.

Join us for a networking lunch on Zoom, where you’ll meet members of our Investment teams who came from a similar degree background. Introduction to careers in IT

Wednesday 30th September, 13:00 – 14:30

If you’re considering a career in IT, this event will give you insights into the different roles available in the industry and Baillie Gifford. We’ll take you through a series of sessions with interactive elements, introducing Agile project management, software testing and requirements gathering. Open to students from all degree disciplines and year groups, and no previous IT knowledge is required.

In this interactive session you’ll find out about the different technologies that power our firm. You’ll see inside our Data Centre and we’ll introduce some of the cutting-edge tech that drives our business forward. Open to penultimate and final year students interested in our Technical Infrastructure Graduate Programme or Summer Internship.
